I have a pair of Klipschorns from the early eighties I believe. I inherited them from my Grandfather but they will not work in my new space. They are type KB WL and the serial numbers are 8p934 and 8p935. They are located in Noblesville IN, 46060. They are functionally perfect. I don't know a lot about these other than they have never been modified and always driven with tube amps. I have the means to easily crate and ship these. I put an add on here instead of ebay or craigslist because I would like someone who loves these speakers to own them and not a someone who will tear them up. They are not perfect they have scratches but I would rate them 8 of 10. Feel free to contact me and make an offer. Email for pictures I cna'y get them resized. It is with great sadness that I've decided to sell these speakers, these were bought back in 1992 by myself with earnings from summer jobs as I was still in High School at the time. They've been treated with tremendous respect and always powered by a Nakamichi 37X2W amp. My wife has indicated that they're "too big" and I never really get the chance to enjoy them anymore either... Well some of you may know how this story goes... I guess I'm a "grown up" now, I can't wait till I can regress at some point in the future... I guess since we all know and love these speakers, you guys probably know all the nitty gritty about them, this set is in just about perfect condition, no dents or scratches to speak off and I've actually oiled the wood throughout the years and kept them from getting all dry and faded. The surrounds are as new, there are no signs of distress or aging whatsoever with them. From the newer Klipsh products I've heard, these sound better and just seem to have more of a robust and dynamic feel than the newer stuff in my opinion.
